A gorgeous, layered sculpture playing with opacity and colour. The play within the distortion and shape are reminiscent of the way clouds and waves distort the view of what is in the water. Delicately placed frit was used to mimic waves or cirrus clouds.

Blue and white glass was layered with clear glass to form the main disc.
After casting, the disc was sanded, cleaned up and then fired again with clear frit at a lower temperature.
