Base glass was cut to a circle and topped with large frit which was then fully fused. Fibre paper was then cut and shaped into forms and placed at the bottom of a mould. The fused tile was then placed on top and further shapes were cut and situated around the rim with further frit was scattered throughout. It was then fired again at a lower temperature.
